Assessment Preparation Imagine you are professional advancing research on the problem statement identified in your Week 1 assignment. After reviewing current literature and recent reports, you identify a pressing societal problem within your chosen specialty area of applied psychology that warrants deeper exploration to determine a potential solution. You decide to analyze this issue to better understand the psychological factors involved and to identify potential evidence-based solutions. In this project introduction, you will provide background on the issue, explain its significance to society and the field of psychology, and outline why further research is necessary to address it effectively. Select 4 or 5 additional peer-reviewed articles from the University Library that are relevant to your selected problem. Note: You will need a total of 8–10 articles for the entire project. Assessment Deliverable Write an 875- to 1,050-word introduction to your project in which you analyze a societal problem within a specialty area in applied psychology that you identified in Week 1.
