Imagine you are a supervisor at an overnight summer camp. Your teenage campers will spend 3 fun-filled weeks participating in activities such as horseback riding, playing sports, participating in arts and crafts, swimming, etc.    You are made aware that during this upcoming summer, there will be a few campers who are experiencing some challenges (i.e., depression, questioning their sexual orientation or gender identity, cultural differences, etc.). As a supervisor, it is your job to educate your staff on the physical, psychological concepts, emotional, and social changes that occur during adolescence. You decide to create a presentation for your staff summarizing the psychological development during adolescence.  Preparation Locate a minimum of 2 peer-reviewed journal articles in the University Library that relate to the psychological development during adolescence.  Assessment Deliverable Create a 10- to 12-slide presentation for your staff that helps them understand what some adolescent campers may be experiencing. In your presentation: Explain some of the changes your campers will go through related to adolescence, including:  Cognitive development  Social and emotional development Identity development  Discuss behavioral issues common in adolescence. Consider the psychological development and biopsychosocial dimensions for this stage. You may want to include a heading for each of the following dimensions: Inconsistent judgement Risky behavior (i.e., substance misuse, promiscuity using social media or in relationships, lying, truancy, etc.) Identity crises  Increased desire for independence and how it relates to brain functioning  Challenges related to fitting in  Teen suicide Discuss some best practices you can implement to best support your campers during these transitions throughout the summer. Explain how your chosen journal articles support your points about psychological development during adolescence.  Include a title slide, a reference slide, and detailed speaker notes of at least 50 words per slide.  Cite at least 2 peer-reviewed, scholarly, or similar references.
