You have been asked to do a presentation a few days before school begins for the year. The presentation will be to the new staff members in the district. You are to highlight the rights and responsibilities of teachers, due process, and the five most important school district policies for the new staff members.  Decide which five district policies you will highlight in your presentation.  Develop a 10- to 15-slide presentation that includes the following: A title/introductory slide (what is the name of your district and what is this presentation about?) Rights and responsibilities of teachers (include at least two teacher rights and two teacher responsibilities) The importance of due process and how it affects teachers One slide about each district policy selected and potential consequences for teachers who do not adhere to the policy (FYI, the policies should apply to teachers, not students) In addition, include any federal or state laws that apply to each policy. If no laws exist in connection with the policy, please state that fact. A concluding slide An APA-formatted reference slide Speaker notes on at least eight slides - speaker notes are not the same as the text on your slide. Speaker notes are what the speaker or presenter would say to further explain the information on the slide, such as key messages or stats, as s/he gives a presentation.  Include clipart and a professional design in order to make your presentation visually pleasing. Remember, it's for an "audience" of new staff members!    Please only submit your assignment as a Microsoft PowerPoint presentation, not as a PDF.
