Ech 420 Wk 2 Group Productive Talk And Collaboration In The Science Classroom

Your principal has asked you to present a professional development session on productive talk and collaboration in the pre-K through grade 3 science classroom.  As a group, discuss strategies or tips for effective discussion and collaboration in the science classroom. This discussion should include the following elements: Questioning techniques Classroom setup and young learner grouping concepts that promote inquiry and discovery Ways to use technology tools to foster a culture where young learners take ownership of their learning goals Opportunity for young learners to develop communication by asking and responding to questions Ways to connect to real-world experiences Justification for use of strategies or tips Implementation ideas, which include managing collaborative structures for young learners Ways to create a positive and safe science classroom learning environment  Create an 8 slide presentation that includes 5 strategies or tips for supporting effective discussion and collaboration in the science classroom.  Divide the slides up evenly per team member. Be sure to include a title page slide. Additionally, make sure each team member's name (first and last) is shown on the slides they completed.  Ensure your strategies or tips include the above elements that were discussed in the group.  Include detailed speaker notes for each slide and an APA-formatted references slide.  Submit your assignment ---  VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ: ONLY ONE SUBMISSION PER TEAM. Delegate who will be responsible for making the final submission with all slides combined. Do not submit until everyone agress the presentation is ready to be submitted. Do not submit individual slides. The system is set up to receive ONE submission only.  Team members who fail to complete their slides will get a ZERO for this assignment. Other team members will not be penalized if someone else fails to do their part (I'm hoping as education professionals this won't happen).
