📋 Assignment Instructions

Kindergarten readiness is a major discussion topic for parents of early childhood-aged children. There has been considerable research and an abundance of studies done to help parents and teachers make the best decisions for children at this important stage of their education. For this group project, your group will be pretending that everyone is a teacher at a local school and are all on the kindergarten team. The principal has asked your team to do an assignment. Some local parents have come to the school asking for advice about how best to prepare their children to enter kindergarten. The principal would like to provide this group of parents with some research-based information to help them out. Assignment information: Your group will be answering questions for the parents and supporting their answers with research that comes from the textbook for this course. The textbook chapters are located under each week’s assignments in the section labeled “Learning Activities”. I would suggest looking through Chapter 10 – 17 in weeks 3 and 4. Write a 175- to 350-word paper in which you answer the parents' questions. There are 7 questions below. Each member of the group will answer one question and support their answer with information from the text. For example, if you have 3 members then your group will answer 3 questions. If you have 4 members your group will answer 4 questions etc. Please distribute the work fairly among the members of the group. Remember to include a reference page and type the paper in APA formatting. As a group you will decide who will answer what question and you will only turn in ONE paper with everyone's answer on it. Make a cover sheet with everyone's name on it that participated. If they did not do the work, do not include their name. I will grade accordingly. 1.
