Assignment Information
The purpose of these assignments is to get you actively engaged in the content, with hands-on experience working with data and data visualizations. These assignments will include utilizing R and R Studio to visualize data and run stats. It will also help prepare you for the lab experiences, so please consider reviewing and attempting this assignment prior to live class/lab.
You are encouraged to work together on these assignments but you are required to submit work that represents your unique, individual work and contributions. Any work that is exactly the same as a peers is unacceptable and will result in a zero. The value in working with others is to hear alternative explanations or understanding. Moving through difficulties together. We are a team, work together but be sure you are turning in work that represents your own work and work product.
Application and Integration 2 Instructions
The purpose of this assignment is to get students to practice visualizing data and gaining familiarity with R.
1. Read the section in the Grolemund & Wichkam (2017) book:
• Grolemund, G., & Wickham, H. (2017). R for Data Science. O’Reilly Media.

Assignment Guidelines
For credit for this assignment you need to:
1. In R, create a .R script that has:
• the appropriate header
• is appropriately commented throughout
• In this script, include all the code that is presented in this section of the book.
2. Please watch the Code with Me video for additional support and information.
3. The submission for this assignment will be a .R file and will be graded using the rubric below.
